-
Bonjour discovery (dnssd://) → printer seen however AirPrint not listed
-
Checked AirPrint commercial:
dns-sd -B _ipp._tcp
Outcome: Brother MFC-J1205W → printer is broadcasting AirPrint
- Tried lpadmin with AirPrint/“in every single place”:
lpadmin -p Brother_MFC_J1205W -E -v ipp://10.0.0.186/ipp/print -m in every single place
Outcome: Exhibits in Print Middle, by no means prints, not seen in Settings.
- Examined Terminal print:
echo "Check print" > /tmp/test_print.txt && lp -d "Brother_MFC_J1205W" /tmp/test_print.txt

- Different makes an attempt: Reset printing system, energy cycle printer, confirm IP/subnet → no success
