New Approach Allows Mass Manufacturing of Steel Nanowires

Researchers at Nagoya College in Japan have developed a brand new methodology for producing steel nanowires (NWs) that might allow their mass manufacturing for next-generation electronics. The breakthrough method addresses challenges in scaling up the manufacturing of pure steel NWs, making them extra sensible to be used in superior digital units, together with circuits, LEDs, and photo voltaic cells. Till now, mass manufacturing of NWs has been hindered by difficulties in sustaining each high quality and purity throughout scaling.
